Judy Ghazoul Hilow – Executive Director

Judy has over 30 years of accounting, non-profit and fundraising experience. She began her career in accounting as an auditor with Ernst & Whinney in Cleveland and later as the Capital Campaign Supervisor for the Cleveland Sight Center raising over $5.4 Million for the renovations. Judy has also assisted parishes within the Cleveland Catholic Diocese with fundraising and development. She is most proud of her work as a parishioner of St. Maron Church, as the Capital Campaign Chair, and as the Co-Chair, with her husband Henry, of the 52nd Annual Maronite Convention in 2015, held in Cleveland with over 2,000 guests from all over the world. Judy is well known for her work as a “Servant Leader” in the Cleveland community and abroad.  Judy is a dedicated wife and mother of five children. 

 

Veronica Rains – Executive Assistant

Veronica has worked at Malachi house for 2 years. Prior to working at Malachi House, she was an Executive Assistant in proprietary education for 11 years. Veronica’s areas of expertise  include budgets, grant/foundation giving, human resources, and many other administrative duties. Veronica said “It’s such a blessing to be part of the Malachi House mission.”

 

Pamela Roe RN, CHPN – Clinical Director

Pamela has 25 years of experience in all areas of hospice and palliative care and has been certified since 1994. Pamela worked for the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) as the Metro Health Hospice Coordinator. Pamela is also one of the founders of Judson Hospice.  “I learned of Malachi House at my first hospice job in 1991, since then it has been a dream of mine to serve here.” The mission, the ministry, and the compassionate care provided by this loving team is awe inspiring. 

 

Nicole Moehring – Development Director

Nicole has a bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration and has over 18 years in marketing, fundraising, foundation work and business development. Nicole volunteers and chairs board positions for many charitable organizations. Nicole has demonstrated a passion of caring for others in both her personal and professional life. “I am honored to be part of the amazing mission of Malachi House and part of a dynamic leadership team” says Nicole. Nicole resides in Hinckley with her husband, Chris, and two children. 

 

Katrina Blatt – Marketing and Event Coordinator

Katrina has worked at Malachi house for 4 years. Prior to working at Malachi House, Katrina was an at home care giver. In 2012, Katrina began her work in Data Entry at Malachi House. In 2013, she was promoted to an Administrative Assistant, then Marketing Assistant and currently holds the role of Marketing & Event Coordinator. Katrina said “It’s such a satisfying feeling to know what a difference I’ve made in others’ lives.” As a resident of Ohio City for over 10 years, Katrina has made a great impact as a volunteer within the non-profit and merchant community.  

 

Liz Bowen – Volunteer Coordinator

Liz has had the good fortune to have served Malachi House over the past eight years in a variety of ways.  She and her sister, Pat, began as Saturday volunteers, cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and assisting in the kitchen.  A marketing assistant with BP Oil Company until BP moved the position to their Chicago office, Liz became Malachi House’s part-time cook, eventually moving into a Caregiver Assistant and then a Caregiver position.  She became a Hospice of the Western Reserve Volunteer Coordinator in January 2013 through early 2015, and in March 2015 had the opportunity to return to Malachi House as the Volunteer Coordinator.  Liz states, “Working at Malachi House has been a life-altering experience!  There have been so many life lessons I’ve learned over the years from our residents, I feel I have received never-ending blessings!”

 

Iraida DelValle– Supervisor

Iraida has been a dedicated employee of Malachi House for more than ten years. She has served as a Caregiver Assistant and caregiver. She was promoted to Day Supervisor in February 2016.  Iraida’s compassion and care of our residents exemplifies what Malachi House is all about.
